  2. Word 2003: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ Office\11.0\Word\Data
  3. Word 2007: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ Office\12.0\Word\Data
  4. Word 2010: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Word\Data
  5. Word 2013: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Word
  6. Word 2016: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Word
  • To remove the word key, right click on the Data key and click on the “Delete.”
  • Now, restart Word and check if the problem has resolved or not. If not then you can try next method.
